Install
- Download the APK on an Android phone.
- Open it. Android asks to allow installs from this browser — accept once.
- Launch OPEN and create an account.
- Go Open. People nearby appear on their own.
Android 12 or newer. Bluetooth is used to notice nearby phones; the app asks for no location permission at all.
What it does
- Open — a state that always ends on its own.
- Open Here — how many people nearby are open, never who.
- People Open — no name, no photo, no distance.
- Say Hi → Accept — nothing identifiable before two yeses.
What it never does
- No location permission, anywhere in the manifest.
- No coordinate, no distance, no history of who you crossed.
- A pass is silent: nobody is told they were refused.
- Open is permission to ask. Never to approach.
